Yugoslavia Football
Yugoslavia was a country in Europe. It had a proud footballing history which began in 1919. It played its first international in 1920 and took part in the first world cup in 1930. It finished 3rd/4th in this tournament and end up being Yugoslavia's best ever finish in a world cup.
It made 7 other world cups between 1930-1990 and made 3 quarter finals and a 4th place in this time. Yugoslavia's made it to 4 Euros finishing 2nd twice and 4th once. Yugoslavia also won the first under 21 UEFA Championships in 1978. Its colour's were blue and white there nickname was the Blues or Plavi.
Yugoslavia was disbanded in 1992 which ended Yugoslavian football. It is now 6 different countries with 6 different teams.
