A product of the Arsenal youth system, Jack Wilshere joined the Arsenal academy aged just nine, that was in 2001, by 2008 he had made his first debut, coming on as a half-time substitute against Barnet in a pre-season friendly. He was give a place in the Arsenal first team squad for the 2008/09 Premier League season and was given the number 19 shirt that he still wears for the Gunners.
Jack went on to be Arsenal's youngest-ever league debutant when he came on as a substitute against Blackburn Rovers aged just 16 years and 256 days.
He was loaned to Bolton in 2009/10 for more experience, but returned to Arsenal for the 10/11 Premier League season, where he would be rewarded with his first start for Arsenal in the Premier League.
For England, Wilshere has represented the nation at all youth levels and made his international debut against Hungary in August 2010, in February 2011 he made his first start for the England team in the number four shirt against Denmark, a game that England would win 2-1, Wilshere came off at half-time.
