West Ham United Football

West Ham United F.C were formed in 1895 as the works side of the Thames Ironworks and Shipbuilding Company by the company chairman Arnold Hills. When the club became a limited company in 1900 the club name was changed to West Ham United. West Ham play their home games at; Boleyn Ground (Upton Park), Green St, Upton Park, London.

West Ham who´s nickname is the Hammers play their home games wearing a strip of claret and blue. The most famous player to don the club colours must have been Bobby Moore who was capped for England 108 times, whilst playing for the club he joined as a schoolboy.
