Thailand Football
Thailand play in the Asian Football Confederation section of World Cup Qualifying. They are yet to make an appearance on the biggest stage of world soccer.
The Thai's best international performance was coming third in the 1972 Asian Cup which they hosted, they beat Cambodia on penalties.
The South East Asian team's most capped international player is Kiatisuk Senamuang whilst the footballer scoring the most goals in a Thai shirt is Piyapong Piew-on who bagged over a hundred.
Thailand's shirt is red with red shorts & socks for home internationals whilst the away strip is a kit of all blue shirt, shorts & socks. Thailand lost their first international match in 1956 against South Vietnam, their biggest win was a 10-0 thrashing of Brunei in 1971.
