Swansea City Football
Swansea City AFC are a Welsh football Club formed in 1912 as Swansea Town, they play in the Football League. Swansea and arch-rivals Cardiff City are the only Welsh football clubs to have played at the highest level of English football. Swansea play their home games in the 20,280 all seater Liberty Stadium in Landore, Swansea, South Wales.
Not surprisingly the club nickname is The Swans and with the Swansea's home kit being white with black edging they can claim to be fittingly attired. The away strip is the reverse black with white edging, again apt for their name. The Swansea shirt graced the first division under John Toshack in 1983 the high point of the for the club in their history to date.
