St Mirren Football

Saint Mirren Football Club normally known as St. Mirren were formed in 1877 in the town of Paisley in Scotland. They play their home games in the 10,800 capacity St. Mirren Park on Love Street, Paisley in Renfrewshire, Scotland.

The Saints or Buddies as they are nicknamed play their home games in black and white striped shirts with white shorts and socks. The away kit is all dark blue, the colours most associated with the national sides of Scotland. The St Mirren shirt has been pulled on by some famous players in the game such as Archie Gemmill best known for scoring against Holland in the 1978 World Cup and Gordon McQueen who joined the club as an 18 year old and then went on to win honours with Leeds and Manchester United.
