Salomon Kalou is an Ivorian winger who plays for French club LOSC Lille where he previously played for Chelsea from 2006 to 2012. Most notably known for his pace and agility Kalou was not always a starter at Chelsea helping the club to win four FA Cups, one Premier League and one Champions League.
Salomon Kalou the Ivorian striker was born in Oume, Ivory Coast on August 5th 1985, he started his career at Dutch side Feyenoord's satellite club Excelsior Rotterdam. Hitting the net 15 times in just 11 games saw Kalou promoted to Feyenoord's first team and he played there from 2003 to 2006 with a short spell at Excelsior on loan.
Salomon moved to Chelsea for a undisclosed fee thought to be in the region on £10million in May 2006, Kalou wore the number 21 shirt for the London club in the English Premier League.
