Serbia Football
Serbia & Montenegro used to compete on the international football scene as Yugoslavia, but the team subsequently became Serbia and Montenegro in 2003 when the country changed its name. They play in blue home shirts, with white shorts and red socks. The away kit is white shirts & socks with blue shorts.
As Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, their first international match was against Brazil in 1994, they lost 2 nil. Their biggest win came against the Faroe Islands in 1996, putting eight goals past them with only one in reply. They lost 6-1 to Holland in 2000 to suffer their heaviest defeat.
They have qualified for two world cup finals in the 1998 and again in 2006, they have competed in one European Championships, reaching the quarter finals in 2000. The player to pull on the serbian shirt the most times is Savo Milosevic with 97 appearances for his country, he is also their top goalscorer with 35.
