Seattle Seahawks Football
The Seattle Seahawks are a professional football team based in Seattle, Washington, USA. They compete in the Western Division of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). The team was formed in 1972 and with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, joined the NFL in 1976 as expansion teams. Seattle is the only team to play in both the AFC (American Football Conference) and NFC Championship Games. The Seahawks play their home games in the 67,000 capacity Qwest Field, Seattle, Washington State.
Post Season Record of Seattle
The Seahawks have one Super Bowl appearance, losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XL in 2005. They have five Division Championships AFC West: 1988 and 1999 plus NFC West: 2004, 2005 and 2006.
Seahawks Jersey
The hawks colours are Pacific Blue, Navy Blue, Neon Green and White, with the home shirt being a combination of the pacific and navy blue with blue pants and black socks. The Seattle away strip is white shirts with blue sleeves and white pants. The alternate jersey is the blue shirts but with white pants. The helmet is blue with black face guard and a fierce looking Seahawk logo on the side.
