Tomas Rosicky is a Czech international footballer who plays for English Premier League club Arsenal. He is 1.79 meters tall and is 27 years old, born on the 4th of October 1980. His shirt number is 7. He plays as an attacking left midfielder and is a great at assists and can score goals from nothing outside the box.
Rosicky was signed by Sparta Prague at the age of 8 in 1988 for the youth team. He stayed and progressed at Sparta Prague and got his first senior game in 1998. He played 41 games and scored 16 goals(league only) before being signed by Borussia Domtumd for 18 million euros(Bundesliga record at that stage) in 2001. Rosicky.s reputation grew massivly at Borussia Domtund he played 149 games and scored 29 goals(league only). Borussia had money troubles and Rosicky also wanted to leave the club, this resulted in Rosicky leaving in 2006. He was transferred to Arsenal on a long term contract and has played 44 games and scored 9 goals (league only) for Arsenal.
Rosicky made his International debut in 2000 he has 67 caps and has 18 goals to his name. He has played at Euro 2000 and 2004, the 2006 world cup and is currently the captain.
Rosicky has won 3 Czech Ligas.s(Sparta Prague), the Bundesliga(Borussia Domtumd), runner-up in the UEFA Cup(Borussia Domtumd) and league cup runner up(Arsenal) and has been voted Czech Republic.s Player of the year twice.
