Baltimore Ravens Football
The Baltimore Ravens are a professional American football team based in Baltimore, Maryland. They compete in the Northern Division of the American Football Conference (AFC) in the National Football League (NFL). The team were formed in 1995 although Baltimore did have a previous team the Baltimore Colts who were formed in 1946.
Baltimore at Super Bowl XXXV
Baltimore went to Tampa for Super Bowl XXXV in 2000 against the New York Giants. The game was dominated by the Ravens. They recorded four sacks and forced five turnovers on their way to winning 34-7 win, becoming only the third wild card team to win a Super Bowl championship. A feat they are yet to repeat.
Raven jersey colours
The Ravens home strip is purple jersey, with white pants and black helmet with a purple ravens head with gold letter B. The away strip is white jersey with purple and gold and white pants. They have an alternative strip which is black.
