Raith Rovers Football
Raith Rovers currently play in the Scottish Second Division. They are based in Kirkcaldy in Fife. The Rovers, as they are nicknamed, play their home games in Stark.s Park which has a capacity of 10104 fans. They attract a relatively high number of supporters due their past successes. The Rovers were Champions of the First Division twice in the last decade, triumphing in 1992/93 and 1994/95.
Raith also won the Coca Cola Cup (Scottish League Cup) in 1994/95. Raith Rovers are managed by ex-Hearts youth coach and former Scottish footballer John McGlynn. Nacho Novo, who currently plays for Rangers, spent a season at the Rovers in 2001/02, making him one of the most notable players to play for Raith Rover. Novo scored 18 goals in 33 matches during his time at the club. Rovers received the fee of £100000 when they sold him to Premier club Dundee.
