Oakland Raiders Football
The Oakland Raiders were formed in 1960 and are a professional American football team based in the city of Oakland, California. They play in the Western Division of the American Football Conference (AFC) in the National Football League (NFL). Their home ground is the 63,000 capacity McAfee Coliseum, Oakland California. Though the team was relocated to Los Angeles for a period from 1982 until 1994.
Oakland's Post Season Record
The Raiders have appeared in 5 Super Bowls winning three in 1976 (XI), 1980 (XV) and 1983 (XVIII), they also won the AFL Championships in 1967. They also have four Conference Championships AFC from: 1976, 1980, 1983 and 2002 plus fifteen Division Championships comprising: AFL West: 1967, 1968 and 1969 plus AFC West: 1970, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1983, 1985, 1990, 2000, 2001 and 2002.
Raiders Colours and Jersey
The Raiders home strip is black shirts with silvers pants and black socks, the away is white shirts with silver pants and black socks. The helmet is silver with a black band up the middle and features the logo of a shield with a pirate head wearing a helmet with crossed swords behind him and the word Raiders above.
