Queens Park Football

Queen's Park have the distinct honour of being the oldest club in Scottish football, founded in 1867 they are the only amateur club in the Scottish League and their motto of Ludens causa ludere' reflects this, meaning .the game for the game's sake'.

They play their home matches at the national stadium Hampden Park. Although it boasts fine facilities and a capacity of 52,000, Queen's Park only average 450 fans.

They play in black and white hoops and are nicknamed .The Spiders'. Queen's Park have never played in the top flight of Scottish football but have won the Scottish Cup on 10 occasion's, they currently play in the Irn-Bru league division two.
