Carolina Panthers Football
The Carolina Panthers are a professional American football team based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Playing their home games in the Bank of America Stadium. They are currently members of the Southern Division of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). The Panthers, began play as a 1995 NFL expansion team, though the franchise was first created in 1987 to bid for entry into the league.
The Panthers have yet to win a Super bowl, although they have reached the final once in 2003, when they went down to a narrow loss to the Patriots 29-32. They have won the Divisional titles twice in 1996, with NFC West and 2003 NFC South on their way to the Super bowl.
Carolina's Jersey Colours
The Panthers home strip is a white jersey and their helmet is silver with a blue snarling panther head. The alternate jersey is black or blue. Reginald Howard (Reggie) White who was a defensive end is the most famous player to don the shirt, he ended a high profile career at the Panthers having previously starred for the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers.
