John O'Shea Ireland kit
John O.Shea was born in Waterford, Ireland. He started his professional career at Manchester United after improving his skills at local clubs Ferrybank and Bohemians. John used to travel every summer to train with the Man Utd academy. O.Shea made his debut for Man Utd against Aston Villa in 1999 at the age of 18 years. He was sent out for loan spells between 2000 and 2001 at Bournemouth and Antwerp respectively, to gain further match regular match practise.
Nowadays, O.Shea has developed into a versatile players who can practically play anywhere on the field. On one occasion, he was even used as a goalkeeper against Tottenham on 4th February 2007, when he managed to fill up van der Sar.s boots and keep the clean sheet. He is considered an important player for the club as he can adapt to various positions providing more depth to combat injury crises.
