Leyton Orient Football
Leyton Orient were originally formed by members of the Glyn Cricket Club in 1881. The team has had several name changes since, first as Eagle football club in 1886 then to Orient football club in 1888. Orient or The O's as the team are also known play their home games in the 7,900 capacity Matchroom Stadium on Brisbane Road, in Leyton, Waltham Forest.
Leyton Orient wear a kit of all red for their home games with the away kit being all white. The most famous player to pull on the red Orient shirt was probably Peter Shilton one of England's greatest goalkeepers who ended his career with them, he had his 1,000th game whilst at Leyton Orient, he went on to complete another 5 games before he retired.
