Notts County Football
Notts County are a football club based in Nottingham, England they are the oldest professional football team in the world having been founded in 1862. The Magpies as they are nicknamed play their home games in the 20,300 capacity Meadow Lane Stadium, Nottingham.
Notts County wear a strip of black and white striped shirts with black shorts and socks for home fixtures. County's away strip is white shirts with black shoulder flashes, white shorts and socks. The home kit was the inspiration for the home shirt of the Italian club Juventus. The black and white strip of the Magpies has had several well known players pull it on such as: Tony Hateley, Peter 'Pedro' Richards, Jeff Astle, Mark Draper, Tommy Johnson, Brian Kilcline, Dixie Dean who played 9 games after leaving Everton and Tommy Lawton who made 151 appearance between 1947/51.
