Luis Carlos Almeida da Cunha, better known as Nani, is a Portuguese footballer who currently plays for Manchester United and Portugal.
His career started at the youth squad of Sporting Lisbon. Even though he was at a very young age, he still managed to round up a total of 58 appearances together with 9 goals. After his two-year spell with Sporting, Nani was spotted by Carlos Queiroz and brought to Manchester United for a massive £17 million transfer fee. Nani has already played over 20 matches with the Red Devils and has raised his tally of goals to 3 with his current club. His debut goal with United was massive. He was the match-winner against Tottenham Hotspur and scored from 30 yards.
The future for Nani looks bright ahead as his first season with United has been successful and together his international career with Portugal, Nani is definitely going to be a key-star player for anyone he plays with.
