Motherwell Football
Motherwell football club was created in May 1886 from Glencairn FC and Alpha FC, amateur clubs based in Motherwell, the club then joined the Scottish professional ranks in 1893. Motherwell play their home games in the 13,742 capacity Fir Park, Motherwell in North Lanarkshire, Scotland, the ground has been their base since 1896.
They play their home games in a strip of claret and amber shirts with white shorts and the away kit is all amber. To date Motherwell's colours have been worn in hoisting four major trophies, the First Division in 1931-32, the Scottish Cup in 1952 and 1991, and the Scottish League Cup in 1950.
