Livingston Football Club was formed in 1995 when Meadowbank Thistle who were founded in 1974 from Ferranti Thistle (originally formed in 1943 and based in Edinburgh) relocated to Livingston and were renamed after the town. Livingston play their homes games in the 10,120 capacity Almondvale Stadium, in Livingston, West Lothian, Scotland.
Livingston play their home games in kit of all amber with the away colours being red shirts, black shorts and red socks. Although the club has not been in existence for very long the shirt has featured in winning the Scottish league Cup in 2004 and as runners up in the 2000/1 season of the Scottish League Challenge Cup.
