Nicknamed The Foxes, Leicester City currently play in the Premier League after winning the Championship in the 2013-14 season to gain automatic promotion to the top tier of English football. Leicester City wear royal blue shirts with white trim whilst the away shirt is white with green trim and the shirts are manufactured by Puma who produced their shirts for just one season and are sponsored by King Power.
The Foxes, Leicester City play at the 32,500 capacity King Power Stadium in Leicestershire. Formed in 1884 as the Leicester Fosse after the field they played in, in 1919 that team collapsed due to financial problems and the team became as it is known today.
As far as silverware goes the team has the unwanted record of having been to the most FA Cup finals without winning the trophy (four), they have won the League Cup on three occasions; 1964, 1997 & 2000.
Famous faces to have appeared for Leicester include England stars Peter Shilton and Gary Lineker, the clubs shirt is blue, with white shorts and socks, away from home the kit is black shorts and socks with a white shirt that has two diagonal stripes of light blue and black.
