Lazio Football
Lazio are an Italian football team, based in Rome. Known in Italian as Societ Sportiva Lazio (SS Lazio), they play their home games at the 82,656 capacity Stadio Olimpico. Founded in 1900 the Biancocelesti as they are nicknamed share their home ground with AS Roma.
Inspired by the Greek flag and olympic tradition, Lazio wear home shirts of sky blue with a white strip, white shorts and socks. The away kit played in is white shirts and light blue shorts and socks.
Lazio won their first scudetto in 1974, 45 years after their first appearance in 1929. Famous names to pull on Lazio's colours include; Paul Gascoigne, Pavel Nedved, Roberto Mancini and local hero Paolo Di Canio.
