Karlsruher Football

The Karlsruher sport club, often known as KSC or Karlsruhe we formed on 16 October 1952 from the combination of VfB Muehlburg and Phoenix Alemannia. The play their home games at the Wildparkstation in blue shirts with white panels on the sides and white sleeves.

Famous names to have played for Karlsruher include Jens Nowotny, Mehmet Scholl, Michael Tarnat and Slaven Bilic. In 1993 the team managed to reach the UEFA Cup semi-finals, the team have never managed to win the Bundesliga and are currently in league two. In their former incarnation the team did win the German football championship in 1909.
