Inverness Caledonian Thistle Football Club is one of the younger Scottish league clubs having been formed in 1994 through the merger of Caledonian Thistle F.C. and Inverness Thistle F.C, the long name is often shortened to just Inverness. Thistle play their home games in the 7,512 capacity Tulloch Caledonian Stadium, Inverness in Scotland. The stadium sits beside the Moray Firth making it one of the more attractive settings for a stadium in the country.
Caley Thistle as the club are nicknamed play their home games in blue and red striped shirts with blue shorts and socks, the away strip is all white.
