Houston Dynamo Football
Houston Dynamo are a United States Major League Soccer team, that play their home fixtures at 32,000 Capacity Robertson Stadium in Houston, Texas. Created as an expansion team in December 2005, the Dynamo were born from the San Jose Earthquakes being relocated, whilst the players and staff moved to Houston, the San Jose name & team history did not.
The name Dynamo refers to two previous football teams in Houston the Dynamos of the Lone Star Soccer Alliance in 1987-1991 and the Houston Dynamos of the United Soccer League in 1984.
Supporters of the Dynamo wear the club shirts which are orange for home fixtures and white for away games, supporters are known as the Texian Army and El Batallon.
In what is a short history the Houston team have won the MLS Cup in 2006 and reached the semi finals of the CONCACAF Champions Cup in 2007.
