Helsingborgs Idrottsforening, known just as Helsingborg are a Swedish football team formed in 1907, the famous player to play for the team is Henrik Larsson who was born in the area and joined the club in 1992, he scored 50 goals in 56 appearances which attracted the interest of the top clubs in europe, at the end of his career Larsson went back to Helsingborgs IF to finish his career, wearing the number 17 shirt.
HIF play at the 16,673 capacity Olympia stadium in Helsingborg, which has hosted UEFA Champions League fixtures when the club has qualified for that stage of european competition. Nicknamed the reds or The Milk Cow (Mjolkkossan) the team currently compete in Sweden's top league, Allsvenskan wearing red home shirts and blue shorts.
