Hannover Football
Hannover, better known as Hannover 96 were formed in 1896 which them the number in their name. Hannover play their home games in the 49,000 capacity AWD Arena (Niedersachsen-stadion), Clausewitzstrasse, Hannover in Germany.
Hannover 96 play their home games in red football shirts with black shorts and socks. Their away colours are all white. The shirt has been pulled on in winning the German football championships in 1938 and 1954 and the German Cup in 1992, when they were in Bundesliga 2. This was the first time a lower league team had won the German Cup.
