Eidur Gudjohnsen is an Icelandic footballer who plays for Spanish giants Barcelona. He generally plays as a striker but is also competent as an attacking midfielder. He started his career off with Valur Reykjvaik in 1994. He then went for a 2 year spell at PSV Eindhoven and in 1998 signed for Bolton Wanderers.
His return of 26 goals in 55 matches led to interest from Chelsea and he ultimately signed for the club in 2000 and he spent six years playing in England.s highest division, gaining 182 appearances for Chelsea.
