Grimsby Town Football
Grimsby Town FC were formed in 1878 and come from the old fishing area on the Humber river in North East Lincolnshire. The Mariners as they are often known play their home games at the 10,000 capacity Blundell Park in Cleethorpes.
Grimsby wear kit of half black and white shirts, black shorts and white socks for their home games and maroon shirts, white shorts and maroon socks for the away games. A couple of famous players have worn the Grimsby shirt, Graham Taylor who played between 1962/68 before going on to manage the English national team and FA Cup penalty saver and winner Dave Beasant who came to the club on loan in 1992 making 6 appearances.
