Jonathan Woodgate Tottenham Shirt
Tottenham have signed England defender Jonathan Woodgate from Middlesbrough beating off competition from Newcastle and one other unnamed club, paying £7.5 million for him.
Woodgate in a Spurs Kit
The 28-year-old made sixteen Premier League appearances for Middlesbrough this season, he joined them initially on loan from Real Madrid in August 2006, the move was made permanent a year later. Woodgate has also played for Newcastle United and Leeds United in his career.
