West Ham United Reveal Home Kit

Posted on July 13th, 2009 in West Ham United by zebra10

West Ham United have revealed their new home kit for the 2009/10 season. The kit is manufactured by Umbro and is mainly claret with light blue touches. The kit is just the same as that that was leaked on the site on Saturday.

The Umbro logo is placed on the top right part of the chest while the club crest is placed just over the heart with SBOBET, shirt sponsor, have their logo printed across the front of the shirt.

The kit was modeled by famous West Ham fan Ray Winston.  Speaking to WHUTV, Ray said: “I actually really like it. It is comfortable. It is claret and they reckon they are going to have white shorts with claret socks. It is nice – it makes me feel very slim funny enough! It is the claret and blue and that’s all I am worried about … this is beautiful, it is claret and blue, what else do you want?”

No idea how to start a new thread or contact anyone on this site but CANTERBURY EUROPE have just gone bust and terminated all contracts.

Like I said before, it’s the same template as Rangers new kit and I for one really like it and I would get it if I was a Hammers fan. Good job Umbro.

Re: Canterburys post. The company also expanded into others sports including football, cricket and golf, and has sponsorship agreements in place with Portsmouth Football Club, Lille and Yorkshire and Hampshire cricket clubs.

I didn’t think they could get worse than the WBA kit but Umbro have now gone back to the sticky sweaty tacky kits of the early premiership years!! Save your money, banardo’s and oxfam sell a cheaper version from 1993!!!

agree with betfair… this and the new West Brom kit are two of the nicest ones so far

this looks really classy…. I like that the claret dominates and it distinguishes West Ham from Aston Villa and Burnley

  16. Rob said,

Ray Winston may have said he likes it in the quote but his face tells another story, really bad shirt & it’s a shame because I like West Ham

It’s bloody awful how can anyone like this??

Awful, what a waste of £40

  18. brn442 said,

As long as it’s claret and blue. If you’ve bought a West Ham shirt the last 4 years, you have wasted 40 pounds anyway.

I like it, it’s original. Think sky blue socks would look better though. But credit to them for trying something new.
