Valencia Sign Kit Deal with Kappa

Spanish side Valencia have sgined a three year deal with Kappa to be the manufacturers of all thir kits and training kits.

The deal is set to bring in 5.5 million euros for Valencia. Current Manufacturers Nike had been given time to match Kappa’s offer but Nike had told Valncia that they will not be matching Kappa’s offer.

The director of marketing, John Paul Miller, closed the agreement on Monday in Turin. Among other commitments, Kappa is committed to expanding the sale of the Valencia in about 2,000 stores that have opened in China.

    Oh dear, poor old Valencia. The day these successful clubs drop down from Nike or Adidas to Kappa or Le Coq Sportif you know the good days are over. If they can do well over the next five years perhaps they’ll get a deal with Adidas, if not it might be Airness… :-)

    they ditched nike because kappa offered them a more lucrative contract with more money for sponsorship than nike, and nike wouldnt improve their current deal.

    their a club in financial turmoil right now so i cannot blame them for going where the money is.
