Turkey Euro 2008 Home Shirt
Here is the first look at Turkey’s new home shirt which they will wear at this summer’s European Championships. The new kit is a red top with a white band around the chest, worn with red shorts and red socks. This is a dramatic change from Turkey’s all white home shirt, although it has been expected for the country to change the colours used on their home football kit and also to reintroduce the band around the chest which has been seen previously on the nations shirt.
Manufacturers Nike have their logo on the right chest in white, with the national flag appearing on the left chest, the kit has a v-neck collar, which has a thin white outline to it. Very smart kit - similar to Spartak Moscow. The flag is OK but I’d rather see a Turkish Football Federation badge on the shirt.
That is horrendous! Worst turkey shirt i have seen in hostory i would have preffered the rumours of an all turqouise kit instead. Nike have become a very dissapointming kit manufacturer
It’s officially launched today. I think it looks great. Also important about the manufacturer paying attention to the community who wanted a classical kit with stripe on the chest. A white one with red stripe also could have been nice but the away shirt is more appropriate to perform the idea of putting “Turquoise” colour. I think this one happened to be way better. I love it.
Also adding, our federation emblem would look disgusting in a kit like this. But it could have been a bigger crescent and the star on the middle of the chest just like the classic one. But player no. looks good anyway.
