The Shirt 2010 – Forget me Not – in Greece

Posted on January 3rd, 2010 in Football Stories by zebra10

Our last update on Bjorn Heidenstorm’s challenge from Norway to South Africa in aid of the Norwegian Refugee Council was when he was still travelling to Spain. Now Bjorn has also covered Italy and is currently in Greece.

Bjorn is currently very close to Athens and if any one wants to contact him he is currently available on his Greek telephone number: +30 695 892 4139.

After Greece Bjorn is set to visit Turkey where he will resume his  journey towards South Africa.

We remind you that Bjorn is collecting football shirts so that when he finishes his journey and arrives in South Africa all the shirts will be presented in one shirt to resemble the peace that should reign in football and all this is being done in aid of the Norwegian Refugee Council.

You can send your shirts to:

his major claim to fame was making his debut (or home debut) in the game Peter Shilton got his 1000th league appearence against Brighton in Dec 1996. He only played 4 or 5 times for Orient before he was sent back to Iceland, he was rubbish.
