Yesterday Puma and the Swiss Football Association announced an extension to their existing contract which will see Puma retain their kit sponsorship until 2012.

The deal will see the Puma brand name on all Men’s national shirts as well as all the Swiss women’s sides. The finances involved have not been disclosed but will take the deal beyond Euro 2012 in Poland/Ukraine. The current deal has been in place since 1998 and Puma have provided a number of impressive shirt designs in that time.

Jochen Zeitz, Chairman and CEO of PUMA said:

“This year we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of the partnership between PUMA and SFV and we are excited that the partnership will continue beyond two additional major Championships in 2010 and 2012”

Switzerland will co-host the forthcoming European Championships with neighbours Austria.
