Singapore 2008/09 Kits

Together with the Football Association of Singapore, Nike launched the new national team kit for the Singapore Lions at Lions Unleashed conference.

The home kit (worn by Hariss Harun) in Atom Red is a reflection of Singapore’s national colour that stands for universal brotherhood and equality of men, and is also a multi-racial symbol of Luck and Courage. The away kit (worn by Captain Indra Sahdan Daud) in Marina Blue is throwback to the historic jerseys of the past, reminding the team players of how far they have progressed through the years. The special Marina Blue colour also reflects Singapore’s identity as an island city surrounded by tranquil waters.

08/09 Singapore National Shirts

The Singapore flag is placed on the left, close to the heart, representing the national honour and respect that each player has for the country and Nike logo is placed on the right. On the back inner collar of the jersey is placed a lion head logo which symbolizes courage, strength and power.
