Posted on April 10th, 2009 in Sheffield Wednesday by Ben1991

Sheffield Wednesday have revealed digital designs for the club’s new away kit for the 2009/10 season produced by official teamwear partners Puma.

The shirt is mostly Yellow, with blue piping down the left side of the shirt. The club badge is on the left of the shirt and the makers, Puma, have their lono on the right of the shirt and on both shoulders in blue. shirt is also emblazoned with The Children’s Hospital, Sheffield and its charity’s logo after Sheffield Wednesday gave the next two seasons’ kit sponsorship to The Children’s Hospital Charity. The shirt will be worn with blue shorts and mostly blue socks.

The new kits will be available for supporters to buy before next season and £1 from every shirt sold will be donated to The Children’s Hospital Charity to mark the club’s partnership with the hospital.

  3. nufc Gavin McElroy said,

nice but sponsor logo bad but good cause

  4. John said,

    Terrible.

People talk about Le Coq’s orange shirt for Man City and how ugly it is.

Now, this is hideous. I hate how they still release bright yellow kits!

funny teddy bear pic on the jersey

  6. kyle said,

hey sala the teddy bear is a logo for a childrens hospital so calm down there

  7. brn442 said,

Doesn’t look bad but I’ll have to see the actual shirt to be sure.

  8. brn442 said,

You can’t compare this to that ghastly, horrid thing posing as a Man City Football 3rd Shirt

  9. John said,

Well I think this top and the Man City 3rd shirt look equally as bad. I think yellow kits should just be reserved for goal keepers.

  10. Daz said,

Am I the only person in the universe who likes the orange Man City shirt?

  11. harvey said,

yes you are daz. it is truly the worst thing i’ve ever seen. ever.

  12. Dale said,

Why are we all arguing over bright yellow shirts? Haven’t Wednesday traditionally had yellow away kits anyway?

  13. Dale said,

Daz – I like the orange shirt, if it makes you feel better.

  14. Paul said,

Its not to bright its the same colour as Villareal. The only thing I hope the sponsor is in the kit and not like the chuppa chumps for seasons ago, it was like wearing a dinner plate!

  15. geha714 said,

    Not so bad!

  16. brn442 said,

Well John, I’m glad Arsenal didn’t follow your advice as we wouldn’t have had the 71 & 89 classics, Liverpool – those gems from the 70’s / 80’s, Juventus, Leeds, Southampton – had yellow away gems as well. There are good kits & bad kits; yellow has little to do with it – either way.

  17. brn442 said,

Well, Daz – stay off the drugs son… That Man City Orange thing is perfect if you’re going on an expedition to Antarctica or climbing Mount Everest, not on a football pitch, unless you’re a steward.

  18. Dr cockington said,

it’s the gayist kit ive ever seen. ive been an owl for 26 years, why are we statrting to look like a bunch of ******* caneries?

  19. Jarvis 25 said,

Why does everybody say bad things about the Manchester City third shirt. It’s not horrible, it’s different. It’s actually nice. I don’t care what people say, but this Sheffield shirt. Nah, yellow needs burying. It’s used too much and it isn’t nice.

  20. Finky said,

This template is the same as the Spurs one next season; guarenteed :-)
