Sheffield United Home shirt 10/11

Championship side Sheffield United have revealed their new home shirt which the team will wear next season. United finished the 09/10 season in 8th place. Their kit is made by Macron.

The shirt is mostly Sheffield United’s traditional home colours of Red and White Stripes. There is a white band across the middle of the shirt for the sponsor’s logo. The shoulders and collar of the shirt are all red. The sides of the shirt are white. There is black piping down the sides of the shirt and around the front of the collar. The ends of the sleeves are also black. The club badge is on the left of the chest and the maker’s have their logo on the right and on the sleeves in black.

just when i thought the new baggies sponsor couldnt be worsed…

  2. poshboy:

I hear Malta is quite nice ha ha thats a schocker of a sponsor!!

  3. Blades321:

How many other clubs can say that a country has wanted to sponsor them before? plus we have had this sponsor for two years already and to be honest I love the way the Maltese cross looks on our shirt! How the baggies fan above can scoff at the sponsor on our shirt is laughable when the sponsor on their shirt this season is absolutely sacrilegious! also poshboy stop being a sheep, you know you love it really, your just jumping on any complaint.
Macron I congratulate you, your shirts this season are amounting to one thing, PERFECTION…. especially this one and the Charlton home shirt.

  4. Jarkko:

Very classy, I genuinely like this shirt. Well done Macron

  5. Susan Mouro(Asegod's Wife):

welcome to the same shirt as last season

  6. Blades321:

Susan this shirt is nothing like last season I can list the differences:
    1. The collar, last seasons was a polo shirt style collar this isn’t
    2. The sleeves last seasons sleeves were all red, this years sleeves are striped
    3. The stripes, last year the shirt featured 5 thick stripes, this years has 7 thinner stripes.
    4. The sponsor logo, had black writing with a white Maltese cross set on the centre red stripe, this year the logo is all black set on a thick white band horizontally across the shirt

Please compare the two and think about what you wrote before making ridiculous comments about the two being similar

  7. Jacob:

I really can’t make up my mind whether I like it or not…might look better on tv I guess.

  8. RCY577:

ummmmm… i’ll see for myself on tv.

  9. your mom:

Overall nice but white stripe and sponsor ruin it.

  10. Brn442:

    classy….? surely you’re having a laugh..

  11. PhilB65:

Not a lot different from last season’s decent effort, though it is goot to see the stripes back on the arms. Malta is a good sponsor and the Maltese cross is cool, but bon’t like the way-too big white bit for the sponsor though 7/10

  12. AdiToff:

Looks cheap, like the Sunderland shirt of two seasons ago. Stripes look faded. Unlike the blue stripes on the Wednesday shirt. And I’m not from Sheffield so this isn’t a wind-up. Not as good as the LeCoq shirts.

  13. George Lazenby 007:

    ahahahahahahahahaha

  14. STEELDCITYBLADES:

Nice Kit but the sponsor bit makes it look tacky.
Away kit is Black with a red pinstripe
Third is Silver and Luminous Yellow (apparently)

  15. Ross89:

it is pretty much last years shirt with a different neck bit
