The partnership was formed not only for the money but to promote the game of football by making it accessible for everyone in one form or another.
The Home shirt for the 08/09 season is red in colour and has been designed by Macron. It features a v-shaped neck with a slick black design from the neck to the armpits. The club logo and shirt-maker logo are in their traditional spots on the left and right hand sides of the chest with the new sponsor Football Stars.com in the middle of the shirt in white. The shirt sticks to the basics but has a black side trimmings to give it some class and round off the shirt.

Insight on sponsor: www.footballsuperstars.com is a cybersport website which is why it is such an unusual sponsor.
On this website players re-create themselves online as a footballer and then have free reign in a state of the art interactive virtual world. Players can play their way from 3-a-side up to full 11-a-side matches, gaining new attributes and skills in order to specialise in their chosen playing position. Away from the pitch players can socialise in restaurants, bars and clubs and visit virtual stores where they can buy equipment and clothes. Players can train in gyms and on training pitches to enhance their skills or flirt with the paparazzi in a bid to boost their fame and status and gain access to the most exclusive clubs and venues.
