Seattle Sounders to unveil MLS Jersey

Fans of the new team which will join Major League Soccer for the 2009 season, will have the opportunity to see their new club jersey worn by the Sounders FC players, on a catwalk as part of a benefit for the Quest for a Cure Guild and the Seattle Children’s Research Institute. The biggest star set to be seen in the shirt will be Freddie Ljungberg, who recently signed as the club’s DP.

Celebrity “A-Listers”, part club owner Drew Carey, players and models will walk the runway at the Fashion Show and those in attendance will be the first to see the team’s official jersey and complete fashion line, as well as having the first opportunity to buy the new Sounders FC shirt for the first time.

    Green is their traditional colour, nice top, clean, crisp, simple – great to see a USL team with real support join the MLS, it helps that one of their owners is a microsoft billionare, makes it more bizzare that an aging Ljungberg would be chosen as their designated player, at least he doesn’t bring Beckham’s circus to Seattle. Again, nice top.
