08/10 Diadora Scottish Kits

Scotland Away shirt 09/11

Posted on March 9th, 2009 in Scotland by Ben1991

Scotland have revealed their new Away kit that the team will wear for the first time in Amsterdam in the upcoming World Cup Qualifier against Holland.

This shows that the shirt is in fact not the Pink and yellow shirt that was suspected, but is the more traditional away shrit colour of White. There are also navy blue panels on the shoulders, down the sides of the shirt and around the collar. There is also some sky blue piping around the ends of the sleeves and bottom of the shirt. The team badge is on the left of the shirt and the makers, Diadorra, have their logo on the right of the shirt and on both sleeves.  The shirt will be worn with navy shotrs and white socks.

The shirt is now available to pre-order. To see more pictures of the kit, click here.

    Nout special. Boring I think

  7. Ceaser007 said,

Well it’s nicer than the last Scotland white away top with that horrible light blue saltire on the chest, i may actually buy this one.

  8. Harry Redknapp’s Speech Impediment said,

It’s alright for the jocks I guess. I wouldn’t stand for it if England had a kit that bad though.

It’s poor. Doesn’t bring anything to the table — at best, average in comparison to the hundreds of other football teams. I’d go for something different, particularly with a “second” shirt. Maybe bright yellow, with a red rampant lion on the front that’s about a foot tall — not a little patch, but a huge lion.

Is ok. Nothing exciting but seems alright.

What happened the toe pink and yellow then?!

  12. geha714 said,

It’s just fine, but if you get rid of the panels then it gets a lot better.

  13. Skiporovers said,

Wait a minute…. Isnt that just the Preston North End Kit without a ponsor…. Lazy Diadora

  14. LFC said,

    Average looking. Typical Diadora.

  15. colin_worldcup said,

Skiporovers……..do you know what the PNE shirt actually looks like? Think we can draw the line at it being white and made by Diadora.

Not a bad effort, but would have preffered the pink and yellow.

  16. Doug said,

Awful, why are we playing in England colours, a disgrace. Who authorised this rubbish should be shot

  17. Dooshra said,

  18. peepshow said,

    Its not bad.

Its better than any of the dreadful away shirts that Umbro came up with in the 90’s.

Better than the last away shirt with the pale blue saltire as well.

  19. mambojambo said,

I just wish that those numbskulls at the sfa would just get rid of that stupid tourist badge and give us the old feck off LION RAMPANT back.
Oh and get rid of that diadora lot while they’re at it!! sheish!

  26. brn442 said,

Boring? doesn’t bring anything to the table? it’s not special? Lads – it’s an away shirt, of a national team – Its fairly simple and clean – take it and run before you get pink and yellow poka-dots. Careful what you wish for.

  27. CW said,

One for watching the paint dry. Good enough for them I suppose.

  28. Statto said,

Why are Scotland wearing an away kit against the Netherlands? Navy and Orange is not a clash!

  29. Harry Redknapp’s Speech Impediment said,

    @CW: Agreed.

  30. peepshow said,

    Harry Redknapp

You wouldn’t stand for it if England had a kit that bad eh?

I’d be interested to know what action you would take?

Bang out a few juvenile posts on here I suppose?

rubbish shirt for a rubbish team

  32. mambojambo said,

Rubbish it may be, I would still die for my country wearing it though.
    SCOTLAND FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  33. peepshow said,

Will the new England shirt be posted on here when it launches?

I won’t see it otherwise as I don’t live on a council estate.

  34. David, Gourock said,

It’s OK at best, agree there’s no need to change for a game against the Netherlands.

Pity they’ve kept the same **** collar as the home kit. Diadorra have been poor it must be said. Wouldn’t part with cash for this even if I did have some to spare.

  35. Jack said,

i actually like it. Its plain simple and good

  36. Gallers said,

The yellow and pink may have been a better option.

  37. mr c said,

i like it nice and white its better than the last away shirt
