Sampdoria Kappa Shirts 2012/13
Here are the new Sampdoria Kappa shirts for the 2012/13 season, in which the Genoa based club will be playing in the Italian Serie A.
Sampdoria managed to win promotion back to the top Italian division after being relegated to the Italian Serie B during the 2010/11 season. They finished 6th in the Italian Serie B standings last season and won promotion to the Serie A via the promotion play-offs.
Home Shirt
The new home shirt is mainly blue featuring a white horizontal band across the upper part of the chest, with a red and black band running across the center. The club crest is placed on the left sleeve whilst the Kappa logo is on the upper right part of the chest. Gamenet club sponsor, have their logo on the front center part.
Away Shirt
Sampdoria’s new away shirt is mainly white with a red and black horizontal band across the center part of the chest, with two blue bands on the opposite side.
Third Shirt
As for their new third kit, Sampdoria will wear a primarily black shirt with the same detail as that of the away shirt, having two blue horizontal bands with a red and black horizontal band in between.

Exactly what ud expect from a Sampdoria shirt, utter class!!
They’re bloody brilliant.
actually like ‘em except if we could get kappa to cut their crappy lookin logos from the sides!! one question guys really i don’t get sampdoria’s badge, what is it exactly!?
Yes was just thinking that, what is that black logo thing on the crest/badge?
They also have a fourth shirt. Which is red.
Agree with @El Patriato, the only downside is the completely unnecessary Kappa logos on the sides, otherwise very nice indeed.
On the badge issue, courtesy of Wikipedia:
“The club crest features a sailor in profile known by the old Genoese name of Baciccia, which translates to Giovanni Battista in Italian or John-Baptist in English. The image of a sailor is appropriate due to Sampdoria being based in the port city of Genoa.”
Wonderful. Sampdoria’s is one of those shirts that have never looked right without the “ERG” sponsor but these are pretty damn close.
Not a huge fan of the kappa side panels but it is certainly better than the logos being on the sleeves.
@flints, I think it is a sailor smoking a pipe. I assume Genoa is a port city?
A lesson to other shirt makers. You don’t have to have black V’s, redcurrent shirts, sky blue or white shorts instead of white or navy, additional unassociated colours to keep a great kit looking fresh
classic sampdoria with the kappa look, don’t even overly mind the logos on the side of the shirt as their not as noticeable as on the arms or shoulders, really like them all!!
Can’t do much wrong with a Samp shirt.
class . kappa usually do a good job on their kits
Such an iconic and unique kit. I have the asics shirt from the 95 season with the bootlace collar.
“i assume genoa is a port city”
loool
kids…
and yes sampdoria shirts are completely iconic
They’re like Roma shirts, the same every year.
@chris if it ain’t broken why fix it?
Well…if you have one Sampdoria shirt you have and all the past shirts with small differenens!!! it’s not bad but i think Sampdoria and Ajax are the shirts you can’t make a lot of things…
Samp shirts are always classic! Not sure about the huge kappa logos on side panels.
white one is is beautiful
