Rot-Weiss Essen Home Shirt 2008/09
Rot-Weiss Essen is a German football club which has been playing in the lower levels of German football. Last season, Rot-Weiss Essen played in the Football Regionalliga and classified in the 12th position with 51 points from 36 matches. The team will remain in the Regionalliga for the 2008/09 season, but it will no longer be the third level of German football, as a new 3 Bundesliga will be introduced as from the coming season. Although the club is playing in a low league, it still enjoys the support of a significant number of fans, having attendances of over 10000 every league game in their 22500-capacity Georg-Melches Stadium. The club dreams of making it to the first division in the future.

The new home shirt for the club is manufactured by Nike and will go in stores around the middle of July. The shirt is sponsored by Sparkasse Essen, which signed a 1-year contract with the club. The shirt will be mainly red, with white shoulders, a red circular collar, and details in black and white on the front. A white shorts and red socks will complement the shirt. Shirts will be sold at 59.95 Euros for adults, and 49.95 Euros for children.

Not crazy about it. The white shoulders look odd somehow. Also, what is the deal with tiny little badges? Clubs need to have more pride in their badge and make it bigger. Sponsor logo makes it look like everyone is number 5.
meh….looks like a training top
That is the ugliest kit I have seen in ages. Not symmetrical, poor choice of colors, strange shapes all over the place. Just horribly ugly.
The white shoulders make it look stupid.
