Ross County 2008/09 Home & Away
Scottish club Ross County have just been promoted to the Scottish First Division, after they finished first in last season’s Second Division. They have unveiled the new kits that they will be wearing next season. German huge sportswear company Adidas designed the kits, while business communication provider HIGHnet sponsored the strips. This will be the first year from a 2-year deal signed with the Scotland leading business provider, which has been supprting and strengthening its ties with Ross County for several years.

The home shirt will be navy blue like last season’s kit but will be accompanied by a navy blue shorts (rather than last year’s white shorts). It will have white stripes on the sleeves, and white details around the chest. The shorts will also have details in white on the sides. The socks that complement this kit will be white with 3 red horizontal stripes and a red Adidas logo.
The away shirt will be surprisingly red, after the club turned to this new colour, when last season’s away kit was white. It will have the same deisgn of the home kit, with a red base colour and white details on the sleeves and chest. The shorts will be white with red details, and the socks will be red with white stripes and logo.
Both parties were delighted with the partnership and the new kits for the coming season:
“We’ve been involved with Ross County for a long time now, both as fans and as a corporate sponsor. Our collaboration with the Club to support their youth development scheme formed Ross County Telecom, and given the exciting times which lie ahead for both our business and the Club, we see this sponsorship deal as a natural development in the HIGHnet-RCFC relationship.” - Dave Siegel, HIGHnet Managing Director
“You shouldn’t underestimate the importance of factors like kit and training gear to a team and you could see that the players were delighted to come back on the first day of pre-season training and find Adidas gear waiting for them. I think little psychological factors like this are hugely important – when they know that they are wearing the same type of kit as both the Euro 2008 finalists were playing in I think it gives their confidence a wee boost.” - Derek Adams, Ross County Head Coach

How Can Lower Division Teams Get Adidas , Nike , Puma to Make There Kits ?? Its An Embarrasement to Kilmarnock , and Motherwell who have kits made by Bukta
just coz we’re lower league means we cant get decent brands :S ?
mon the clyde
i never thaught i’d see the day when ross county would wear adidas. what is the world coming to!!
Adidas? How did they manage that? Xara or Vandanel more their level.
It’s like the way Aberdeen kits are made by Nike and how Dunfermline had Adidas last year. It’s not actually Adidas who contact Ross County about making the kit, Ross County simply order an Adidas template from a catalogue or somewhere like ProDirect.com. They may not pay for it, as the third party may see it as a coup to have a professional club buying from them, but it is done in the way that any side such as an under 14s team can have adidas, nike, puma, etc. kits
no-one is noticing the fact that there are two very nice kits on this page… The red and white one is the kind of design I would have liked for Liverpool’s home kit if it just had the proper shorts.
Lol, they look like a MLS team with that kit
I agree with top comment, why do lower teams get sponsored by big manufacturers when teams like Leeds get rubbish ones !
They look just like MLS shirts.
chrisy were you previosly called chris? if not does ny1 know where chris has gone? cos hes an idiot. he doesnt understand Uniteds song We’ve won it 3 times
i dont know what you guys are thinking, who cares if there a lower league team they have got a cool strip and their doing well ,so who cares c’mon the staggies
