Retro Tuesdays #3 Newport County 1983 Shirts
Newport County home & away shirts from the mid-80s, not long after the County reached the Cup Winners Cup quarter final. Notable players who had worn these shirts include Lyn Jones and Tony Pulis.

Southampton wore another classic Patrick kit back then too. Not a million miles from that template, but with a collar. The days when the Saints put out a first team with five England captains.
I enjoy these Retro Tuesdays. I’d like to see Saint-Etienne’s mid-70s Le Coq Sportif kit featured. It had narrow hooped pinstripes. A real design classic.
