Today's feature of our Retro Tuesdays
is the France Euro 2000 home shirt by adidas.
Worn by French legends such as Zidane, Deschamps, Henry and Trezeguet, the shirt was mainly blue with white and red detail around the upper part of the chest. The shirt had a classic blue/white polo neck style collar.
France continued on their World Cup '98 success and went on to win the European Championships of 2000 which were held in Belgium and Netherlands. The final match was played in Rotterdam. When all hope was lost for the French, Sylvain Wiltord grabbed a dramatic equaliser in the 94th minute to send the match into extra time with David Trezeguet scoring the golden goal
in the 103th minute.
