Reading FC Puma Shirts 2012/13

Here are the new Reading FC Puma home, away and goalkeeper shirts for the upcoming 2012/13 Barclays Premier League season.

Reading are back in the Premier League next season following promotion from the Championship last season. The Royals won the Championship and thus secured automatic qualification for the top English football division.

The new Reading home shirt features wide blue and white hoops with a red patch on the right shoulder. The club crest is placed on the top center part of the chest with club sponsor logo just beneath.

Reading’s new away shirt is mainly yellow with blue detail whilst the club’s new goalkeeper shirt is light green with white detail on the upper part of the chest.

  1. Steve:

Oh my sweet death these are terrible

  2. Philwise:

Absolutely awful. I’d hate to be a Royals fan right now :(

  3. milfman:

I’m not usually one to knock kit makers unless they are terrible, puma kits are all TERRIBLE this year! I am dreading newcastle’s home :s

  4. JohnnieBoy:

Keepers is the best of the 3.

  5. Nails:

Home is horrible. Away is a lot better. The kit will look stupid on any player that tucks his shirt in.

  6. MattCityBlue:

Shockers. I really dislike Puma designs recently because the styling is so lazy and you know what’s coming before you see it.

  7. Dan:

Unreal, this is by far the worst kit to be released this year!

standard puma template for the away

    like the keeper kit though

  8. Joe:

Wayyyy! Oxford colours on the away kit!

  9. RobdayOUFC:

Actually Oxford have always been Yellow/Navy/white since their change from Headington United when they were Orange and black

  10. Fotheringham:

That isnt a hopped shirt, it’s a shirt with 2 bars

  11. Davie:

Dear oh dear! Are Genesis deliberately trying to lose their licensing agreement with Puma? Most of their kits look terrible this year – especially with those massive sleeves. Greenock Morton actually got the better of the two blue and white hooped Puma strips this year.

  12. tonesterwolf:

Last years shirts were better imo. Esp the home, this years doesn’t seem to have much thought gone into it.

  13. Ebbe:

    Waitrose. Ooh posh

  14. Save me:

The less said… Well the less said!!!

  15. Tim:

Absolutely awful. I hate “hooped” shirts with only two or three hoops, they always look terrible.

  16. Jimbo T:

Just awful – again. At least this time they haven’t made the back one coloured.

  17. RCY577:

Like the away and goalkeeper shirts, but home really don’t like. What are you doing Puma?!

  18. monkeysaurus:

Just appalling. Absolutely zero thought has gone into the home strip and my god, does it show. The hoops are far too big and there are not enough of them, the red flash is totally incongruous and the away kit is just a common or garden template. Reading and QPR have colour schemes and designs that look among the best in the league when well executed, but this is an object lesson in what not to do.

  19. Redbrum:

Whats with the red stripe on the shoulder? On the plus side Waitrose is a great supermarket and a way of life Berkshire!
