Rayo Vallecano is a Spanish football team from Madrid playing in La Liga, the top league in Spain. In the 2011/12 season, the team ranked 15th in the table at the end of the campaign, avoiding relegation by just 2 points. The home stadium is the Vallecas Stadium which has a capacity of 15,500. Rayo Vallecano were promoted to La Liga from the 2010/11 Segunda Division and they will play their second consecutive time in the top flight in the 2012/13 season.

The kits of Rayo Vallecano are supplied by Errea, and Italian sportswear brand. The home shirt has a white base colour with a red sash, a red bottom border, red sleeve hems, a red collar and red patches on the sides. Like the away shirt, it has the club crest printe on the right side of the body. The away shirt retains all the abovementioned red details, but the base colour of the shirt is black. The third kit is blue and has the club’s anthem printed on it diagonally in white in the form of a sash. The collar, sleeve hems and bottom edge are light blue. The home shorts are white, the away short black and the third shorts are blue, the same colours of the socks respectively. A green goalkeeper kit was unveiled as well.

    nice , wish southampton still had the home design

  5. Jarkko:

    Love Rayo kits, iconic is the best way to describe them and Errea have done brilliantly here. Goalkeeper kit is a bit mental but that’s part of it. I remember when they were sponsored by a insect repellent (I think) and they had a bee on the front of the kits – 2001ish?

  6. Toni SCP:

    Pretty good stuff this!

    @Jarkko
    Yeah I 101% agree! Lovely shirt that was with the lil bee!
