Rangers Home Shirts 10/11

The leaked images we had early this month have been confirmed by official promo images from Rangers.
The new home shirt is similar to the shirts in the 20′s, 30′s, 40′s and 50′s era, featuring a white collar. The shirt is manufactured by Umbro and is complemented with white shorts.
Andy Kerr, President of the Rangers Assembly, commented: “The fans are always asking for retro style kit to be brought out and this one with the white collar goes back in time to the Bill Struth Era, it should prove really popular with our support.”
That’s the best sunday league shirt I’ve seen in a while.

The promo shot looks fake, but if it wasn’t then it does look like a nice shirt, although the Tennent’s logo spoils it
Finally, a ‘classic’ style shirt that actually does look nicely retro, although I think this particular strip will be a bit marmite to Rangers fans.
Is Davie Weir showing off the new top because he’s so old he showed off the original one.
Another great shirt from the umbro tailored range, might have to buy my first “gers” shirt in about 15 years me thinks.
Cant wait to see the new Southampton umbro shirt hopefully the wait will soon be over……………..

Umbro have really hit the spot witht retro look. They produced our best Manchester City kits in years in 2009/2010. This Rangers kit is truly excellent with the retro look: 10/10

Fantastic truely retro shirt and very worthy of being worn by Scotland’s biggest club. Just wish I wasn’t an ugly wee tattie faced tim so I could have the honour of wearing it instead of the boring ‘same old’ kits our manky mob come up with every time.

seen the new celtic top getting shown today, has the T for tennents logo on the shorts, does that mean we will also since the essentally we share the deal with them?

Rangers have a really nice top, I like that it doesn’t have red on it, makes it look tacky compared to this classy top. I’m just a wee bit jealous of Rangers right now, despite the fact we’ve been given nice kits by Nike.

Alan, basically it is a shared deal, the sponsors will know how lucrative it is to have both sides of the old firm on board, and also there’ll be no petty boycotting the product from one set of fans because they sponsor their rivals. No different to the Carling deal and NTL deals previously.

Nice & simple, I would have made the outline on the Tennants logo in dark blue instead of black though

As a ginger haired wee fairy, I am totally jealous of this top and the team that is the Mighty Glasgow Rangers. I just wished I had the skill and talent in my day to play for such a glorious team. Saying that I will be able to watch from the dug out as Walter`s side win three in a row in this stunning top.

best strip since 87 umbro kit with the button neck & squares & really like the advert with weir & a think tiger shaw & jerry dawson about time we showed guys like that & the famous struth statement the family have done it for years with stein & the lisbon beggers bill struth won18 league titles & 10 scottish cups all respect tae watty but people comparing him tae stein is embarrasing hes never in steins class but struths the godfather 53 & counting

Rangers tops are always better when they have only blue and white and this one is no exception. Comparing Nike and Umbro is stupid as Umbro is now only a name owned by Nike. Check it out!
